Another day of snow for the area, please use caution when driving.
The department has had a busy week with calls last week. Many being Carbon monoxide alarms and odors of gas in the residences. During the winter months, having the house closed up to keep the heat in accompanied with furnace operation may raise normal levels of CO and gas.
A CO detector is a life saving device that will prevent CO poisoning, and will alert you in the event of a potentially harmful spike in the level. The following guide will help with awareness to keep your loved ones safe.
